East Texas AHEC has joined the National Institutes of Mental Health’s Outreach Partnership Program as the NIMH Outreach Partner for the Texas Border Region.
The NIMH Outreach Partnership Program competitively selects organizations to serve as Outreach Partners. These Outreach Partners conduct mental health outreach and education programs designed to inform the public about mental disorders, alcoholism and drug addiction, and to increase public awareness and understanding of mental health research conduct and benefits.
